Have you been wondering whether or not you are a suitable candidate for invisible braces? Perhaps you’ve already started doing some research into orthodontic devices, because you know you’d like to have your teeth straightened, but you’d prefer not to attract the negative attention you fear traditional metal braces might bring.
A simple consultation here at No1 The Orthodontic Specialists will be able to answer your questions. We will need to examine your teeth and the reason for their misalignment before we can say for definite that you would benefit from the very discreet advantages invisible braces can provide. However, that said, the leading invisible braces brands we work with are able to correct a large number of orthodontic issues.
Whether your teeth are protruding, overlapping, overcrowded, gappy, or you have a prominent overbite, underbite, crossbite or open bite, we will be able to suggest an appropriate course of action. Let’s take a look at the brands of invisible braces we offer with a view to helping you identify your preferred brand.
Invisalign braces are removable. Instead of using brackets which are bonded to your tooth surfaces, you’ll wear translucent aligner trays which you can slip on over your teeth. They are custom made to fit snuggly and comfortably over your individual set of teeth while they pull them into a more attractive position.
You’ll wear a series of trays, one after the other with each one having its own task to complete. For instance, the first tray will move affected teeth from A to B, while the second tray will move them from B to C. You’ll visit us every few weeks to have a new tray fitted.
The aligners are very discreet when you’re wearing them and you’ll be able to remove them during social dining situations, meaning awkwardness when you’re speaking to friends will be kept to a minimum.
Lingual braces are often used by celebrities because they are so discreet. Given that they are fitted to the back of the teeth and move the position of your teeth from behind, they’re very hard to detect. They’re particularly effective on overcrowding and bite problems. Again, we’ll be able to offer more advice as to your suitability upon examination.
Ceramic braces consist of translucent brackets bonded to your teeth with a tooth coloured wire running through them. They are far more discreet than fixed metal braces and can offer a conveniently short treatment time for mild cases. They fix a number of issues including overlapping and protrusion.
Are you ready to find out how quickly we can provide you with straighter teeth and a more attractive smile? Please get in touch to book your consultation today. We’ll work with you to help you achieve a more memorable smile.
